Since I know that a lot of UCs are only counting 8 honors courses from your sophomore to junior year, I was just wondering if the UCI admission will look at your Weighted/Unweighted GPA for ALL (not just the 8) your classes during sophomore & junior year...

Cause I know that makes a huge difference in your GPA...

If they only count 8, why would they look at your total weighted GPA?

On a side note, for maintaining a 3.0 GPA your senior year, they say that it’s weighted, but is it still “weighted” if you already took 8 AP/honors courses your soph-junior year?

Well, @UCIGirl2012, they don’t really see it since all they factor in are those eight classes.

@cacophonous I’m not 100 percent sure, but I did hear they do weight it even if you took 8 classes during soph-junior year. My best advice is don’t get yourself stuck into that kind of a position, like, really now…But yeah, it should be okay if you took all AP classes and straight C’d it, I thinkkkkk…I remember that’s what I was aiming for xD

Oh okay, because I’m taking 4 APs this year, and I have a couple C’s, and some B’s. And since I’m only taking 5 classes, with 2 C’s it lowers my GPA to a 2.8 UW I think.
