WILLLLLLLLLLLLLlll they?

call and find out

whats the worst that could happen?

No they will not. I tried calling, because I was dying to know…But they said they couldn’t tell me this information through the telephone.

I was thinking of calling too. I am dying to know as well. Why is it UCSD can tell us but not UCI? First they made us wait for 7 weeks only to be rejected. Now they won’t tell us why we are rejected?

I know it sucks, but UCI, and all other admissions offices have to deal with thousands of undergrad and graduate applicants. With so many people, they obviously can’t accommodate everybody’s individual needs.

If I’m not mistaken, I thought UCSD called some of their applicants with news of acceptance and not reason for rejection.

Try appealing. I know a few people were rejected at first and got in through appeal.

Because UCSD strictly uses a point system to admit students, it’s easy for them to tell you exactly where you lost points.

Since UCI uses a holistic process for admissions, I’m guessing that they can’t tell you why you were rejected as easily.
