Will UCLA look down on SAT Math level 1?

I'm planning to take that as a subject test because I'm planning to do premed or prepharmacy there. I would've chose math level 2 but I haven't take precalculus yet. So would colleges look down on it? I am not bad at math it's just that I'm held back one math level bcoz I failed a class during freshmen year. So yea please answer my question. Thnx

From what I understand, it won’t “make or break” your application, but they would much rather see Math level 2. I know plenty of kids who have done well on the Math 2 SAT and did not have Pre-Calc, it just takes a bit of determination as well as the ability to independently work through a problem.

Shouldn’t matter if you do well on it. It’s harder to get an 800 on the Math 1 test though because you can only miss like 0 or 1 while on the Math 2 it’s a few more.

From what I heard, UC’s don’t really require SAT subject tests. But you should still take it if you think it will help.
