Will UCLA rescind me?

Hey guys, I know there's a ton of these threads and sorry for posting a new one, but I can't seem to find one similar to my case.

I'm going to be a freshman at UCLA next year and I've already committed, but I might or might not receive a D in Linear Algebra (I'm taking it dual credit through my school). I'm majoring in Pre-Business Economics so I'm really not sure if it's related to my major or not... and I'm not 100% sure if I will drop to a D or not.

In the case that I do, would I get rescinded?

My other grades are:
AP US History: B/C (also borderline...:P)
Creative Writing (nonweighted): A
Drawing 2 (nonweighted): A
AP Microeconomics: A/B...lol again :P
Marketing Internship (nonweighted counts for 2 credits): both A

Please please please help. I was freaking out earlier so I sent an email to UCLA saying I might drop to a D and in case I do what should I do?

I included my application ID and name and everything, my mom says that was a bad idea but I can't see why...

Thanks so much in advance for the help!!!

Oh, and my overall weighted GPA is a 4.02 atm, and even if I get a D it’ll still be a 3.375 weighted 3.125 unweighted for this semester. I’m not sure what it will be overall but it will be below a 4.0 and above a 3.0…

I heard that you need a 3.0+ UW GPA. And if you get any D’s or F’s, you have to report it. But that’s all I know.

It’s possible, but not likely.

Report this ASAP and start working the details out with UCLA now.

Ok thanks, I was just wondering on the likelihood of getting rescinded. I don’t actually have a D YET, but it seems really possible at the moment…

Also, would it matter if the class was a dual credit college course? My teacher teaches MVC and LA in 1 year, and our school is the only one in our district to do so.

nvkhuang,

None of us are really qualified to tell you this for sure. I would just talk to UCLA ASAP.
