Will UCLA rescind me

So I went back to my UC application today and noted something that was extremely alarming. I saw noticed that I failed to mention the fact that I did not take AP english second semester of junior year after taking it first semester. In the uc app, it does not allow you to differentiate between semesters, so its either I took it or not. I noted that I did take it but there was no way for me to tell them that it was only for the first semester. I would have made it clear if there was a space for it. I just sent admission an email right now, what do you guys think?

Oh and I did take the ap test. Got a 4 on it

BUMPPPP

anyone? Im going crazy here

If the ap class was a yr long class and u dropped, then it will be unfortunately. Unless the reason for the drop was reasonable, it will most likely be

But i wasnt failing. I just had a B

Why did u drop then?

My teacher was just horrible. She was very unreasonable in her grading and I wasnt learning anything. I learned more from my review book than I did from her

Best bet would be to call the admissions office and ask them –> as long as you took the ap test and kept in an honors class of it during the second half of the year, I would think that they wouldn’t bother rescinding, but it is best to ask, even anonymously.

Best of luck…

Edit: As a public university, they may have to keep with the acceptance. My friend who went to rutgers (NJ public school), did the same with an ap english class, took the ap test, and his offer was not rescinded

Then you did not have a legit excuse for dropping. They’ll consider it “taking less rigorous classes then listed”
But since u weren’t failing, maybe admissions will have mercy. Wish you luck.

And by not legit I meant in terms of their pov. I personally don’t see the point of a class with a teacher that fails at teaching. But I thk the schools prefer u stick with it

My high school does not offer an honors class in english. I got an A in regular english if that means anything. But I also had 4 other ap’s to deal with and I got a 4 on the test, which is what most people that took the entire class go lol

I don’t know. It’s up to them. I’m just saying realistically they might do it.

I would still make a phone call and ask, but I wouldn’t stress too much over it as you still took the ap test in the end. :)

Ap tests start next week. How’d u take it already?

I sent an email, and I guess I will call tomorrow. And if they’re worried about the rigor, I was taking 7 classes that year. 4 other Ap’s (Chemistry, Calc BC, Psychology, US History), spanish 3, and Academic decathlon (its a class at our school)

Mather: this happened my junior year

Oh my bad I didn’t see junior part. If it was this yr you most definately would have been.
Sorry I was confused with my school which only has ap English for seniors and an honors for juniors.

If this happened jr yr, they will have seen it in ur transcript. They already factored in this as part of ur application. I doubt they’ll rescind ur offer.

I thought they have not already received my transcripts?

And thanks for the mini heart attack a few minutes ago lol

U should have sent in ur transcript when u applied, which should have had ur jr yr classes and grades.

Lol my bad bro XD

Ohhh, thank god. My counselor probably did that. And now ive sent that email already, hope they just ignore it.

And its cool lol

WaIt a min, my counselor said that no transcripts were sent…
