Will UCLA rescind me?

Hi everyone! I read the UCLA Admissions Contract and I understand that it says if I have an unweighted GPA lower than 3.0, I will (maybe?) get rescinded. I know this type of post has been posted already, but I’m kind of nervous and want some personal answers.

How strict is UCLA with their Admissions Contract? I had a mixture of As and Bs in my first semester senior year and I risk getting 2 Cs this semester with otherwise straight Bs. I have un-updated grades atm, so I can’t be sure what my grades actually are, but I know definitely that 2 Cs and 4 Bs (my 7th class is a sport so it doesn’t count) will be the worst that could happen. Will I get rescinded for this? *note, don’t worry about partying and stuff, I haven’t touched drugs nor have I partied in my life…

OP: ALSO! What are my options if I DO get rescinded? Is it too late to accept another college’s offer of admission? Will I have to go to community college?

ALL of your admissions offers will have a date when you must ACCEPT (pay a fee to secure your spot.) Read those offers and speak to UCLA admissions. If you are still nervous, you can spend the extra $$$ to accept at another college, as a backup plan. Unfortunately, housing might be an issue.

UCLA’s provisional admission requires you to maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA senior year, no D’s or F’s. It is highly unlikely you will be rescinded but if you are concerned, it is always better to contact the school directly and get your questions answered. No one on CC can tell you what will happen.
