<p>I called a few times and they did not really give me a straight answer and I submitted info to them via the freshman change form thing. I sent a brief email explaining my situation as well.</p>
<p>What are the chances of getting rescinded (and appeal) in July? I'm a comp eng major.</p>
<p>I submitted my SIR already and the community college is not offering it over the summer.</p>
<p>Seems unlikely that they would rescind due to your dropping an advanced class that almost none of their incoming freshmen have taken. That would be like kicking someone off the gymnastics team because she attempted a maneuver beyond the ability of the rest of the team, and she did not succeed. </p>
<p>But I am just a random guy on the internet, and what do I know?</p>
Update if anyone wants to know: my acceptance wasn’t rescinded. lol
