My friend told me that if I get more than one C on my high school transcript, UCSD will rescind me, is that true?
The Freshman provisional admission contract for the last few years has stated you need to maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA for Senior year, no D’s or F’s.
You should have a copy of your provisional admission contract in Myapplication.
One C will not get you rescinded uncles you are a transfer and your provisional contract states you need to complete all in progress classes with a B or higher.
Freshman:
All offers of admission are provisional until your test results and official final high school transcript (and college transcript, if applicable) have verified your self-reported academic data. Offers of admission will be rescinded if
-you have discrepancies between your official transcripts and your self-reported academic record
-you do not complete the “a–g” courses listed as “in progress” or “planned”
-you do not complete your twelfth-grade courses at the same academic level as your previous course work
Transfers:
All offers of admission are provisional until your self-reported academic record has been verified by official transcripts from all colleges attended. Offers of admission will be rescinded if
-you have discrepancies between your official transcripts and your self-reported academic record
-you omitted any college or school attended from your application
-you do not complete the courses listed as “in progress” or “planned”
-you do not maintain the specified GPA for courses “in progress” or “planned’’
Thank you! So it would be okay for me to get a second C? Because I’m at a borderline B in my English class and already have a C in Calculus.
Getting a 2nd C will not be a reason for being rescinded unless it puts your weighted GPA below 3.0 and you have significant drop in your GPA since the time of your application.
