So the UF SAT/ACT scores deadline is Dec 31st.
I just called the UF admission counselor and he said that they don't guarantee if they will receive the December SAT scores...
Then I asked if rush reporting the SAT scores would make the scores arrive faster.
But he said that it takes like 4 - 6 weeks(?) for them to process the scores even after the scores arrive in UF...
My SAT score is about 1700 and I want to get a higher score! and I'm positive I will get above 1900 on Dec SAT if I study hard.
Some people told me that they made their December SAT scores to UF before the deadline but I'm still worried because the counselor said they don't guarantee...
What should I do?

Scores need to be in their hands by Dec 31. Sending rush may not comply with that. Only way to assure Dec scores will arrive in time is to designate UF as a college to receive scores in your test application. That is in fact the fastest form of delivery and will get it to UF before Dec 31 as long as there is not a hold on the test scores by SAT (such as to investigate suspected cheating). Note that how long it takes UF to process the score after it is delivered has absolutely nothing to do with whether you have complied with the Dec 31 deadline date. All you need to have happen is delivery by that date which will happen if you designate UF in your test application as a college to automatically receive scores upon release (in other words you must commit to sending the scores before knowing what the scores are).

Thank you so much for your valuable informations!
So are you pretty much saying that when I register for my December SAT, I should designate UF so that they will receive the scores faster?
Since I can only do rush reporting after the scores are out, I don’t have to do the rush reporting right?
But why would they make the rush reporting option that costs like 30 bucks when you can just send your scores faster by designating UF when you register for the test?

Yes, designate UF as one of your free sends in the test application. You need do nothing else. Score will be electronically delivered to UF even before you get it online.

Ok thank you again!
So I will register my SAT around this week and Ill designate UF!
The score for December Sat(Dec 1st) comes out on Dec 21st so when do you think it will be delivered to UF?(Sorry for keep asking the same kind of questions…Im so worried right now)
Why did the admission counselor said that it will take 4 - 6 weeks to process even after the scores arrive in UF?
Are there anyways that I could find out if the scores are arrived in UF?
And lastly, I’m planning on sending my November SAT scores too and I want to send it like at the end of November so that if they dont get my Dec SAT scores, they will still have my November SAT Scores. Are we allowed to send the scores separately or do we have to send all of our SAT scores together on the same day?
