Okay.. so it's that time of year... AP time!! I was just wondering... should I send my scores to UM if I think I will do poorly on my exams?? (actually I am only worried about calc) This is a really dumb question, but.. they can't kick you out if you like get a 2 or something can they... lol... ah!... help!

Yeah dude. They can totally kick you out if you get anything less than a five on Calculus. It happened to my friend. UM revoked his offer of admission cuz he got a 4 on Calc AB.
Just Kidding. Bored with myself. Read the thread "Urgent: Whoops" to find out more.
No, Ap grades are only used for placement. They won't kick you out cuz you failed or something. Chill and stay sober!

hahaha...yea i remember i got a 2 on my AP bio and they didnt care whatsoever

How about if I have a 5 in Cal AB?
I'm pretty sure I can get a 5.
Will they place special consideration because I send them the AP report?
But I just have 1 AP, and that will make the 5 look lonely.

Oops, I forgot to mention I'm a high school junior only

APs help, but they are just one of the many factors. So getting a 2 will not hurt the applicant too much and getting a 5 will not guarantee admission. Unweighed GPA, course difficulty, SATs, recommendations, ECs and essays are all at least as important as AP exam results.

u send ur AP scores after uve pretty much been admitted anyways cause its like in May...or that was the case for me...

maguo now signing off with "chill and stay sober"? Wow dude, that episode musta messed you up REAL bad.

Do you think any colelge would care if I (As a senior) don't take the AP Spanish exam, even though I'm in the class?

Not at all. As AP exams are for placement only, they can only help you.

Got the biggest scare of my life. Still haven't slept much since. I puked today after watching a movie with people drinking. I hope it clears up before I get to UM.
Chill, and stay sober.

sounds like you need a hug bro. I'm here for ya man. Try root beer. Does a body good....I would know.

I still kind of want a drink right now, but then everytime I see a beer (especially Coors) I just want to puke. Sorry man, not a big root beer fan. Maybe you can teach me to like it next year.
Wait, your a football fan and you don't drink real beer? How does that work? They go hand in hand.

I hate beer and I love football. But I am not American, so that may explain a few things. I also don't like root beer. I don't understand how people can like that drink.

Root beer is amazing alexandre! It's like coke but sweeter and creamier and all-around yummier. I also hate beer and love football and I am American (though far less patriotic than most). So i guess they don't really go hand-in-hand. I never anticipate liking beer. If i never try it, I can't get used to the taste i guess.

beer is nasty...but it can be fun...hahaha

Beer you drink in college at fraternity parties (Keystone, Natty, Beast) is nasty, but good beer (drunken for enjoyment, not getting drunk) can be amazing

I'm kind of weird, cuz I'm about the only person who doesn't mind natty. It's got 5.9% alcohol which is more than most beers. It's also a lot cheaper. And when you're drunk, they all taste the same.
I was totally kidding about the whole football/beer thing.
