Will UMD take SAT's from the October 11th date?

The scores for the october date will come on October 28th, and I think I did very well on them. My first test I got 1860, which is decent. 550 reading, 710 math, 600 writing. However, I think I did a ton better on this past test, and am honestly predicting 650 reading, 750 math, 640 writing at the lowest. I have already submit my application and was planning to only send my new scores. If I send the scores on the 28th, I know UMD won't receive them until a week or two later. Will this be an issue? There is no chance that the school will get my scores before the early action deadline of November 1st. I have heard from some people that this doesn't matter, as long as you send them from collegeboard before the deadline. I am wondering if this is true. I will have to hurry up and send my 1860 if they won't accept my latest scores. Sadly that will probably hurt my application quite a bit since my GPA isn't the greatest (weighted 90/100).

I called the Office of Admissions and they said yes, they do accept October 11th scores (I sent mine yesterday).

How did you send scores if they haven’t been released yet? Or did you just set it to send them on the 28th? That’s what I did

I used the free score reports (send directly from college board to the school, so yes they will be sent before I get to see the scores).

Pretty sure Maryland requires all SAT scores (this means you must send your old scores as well). There is a rush option for scores that guarantees they reach Maryland in 2 days (but it costs like $30 more). You can send them normally if you want, but it’s your risk.
