will us unis accept this? or am i being just unrealistic??

i'm singaporean and am 18 this year. was supoosed to be in J2 (the equivalent of 12th grade in the us) this year, but slacked around during J1 (11th grade), had no motivation to study n screwed up n got retained, had a total nervous breakdown, tried suicide n all those stuff. yea. left school, as i didn't find the prospects of repeating one more year attractive. so enrolled myself in a private institution and took up this LSE external study course, a 1-year long diploma in econs (didn't have much choice, as the other courses required a-level or poly qualifications), which is the equivalent of Year 1 in uni, or so the people there say. just started the course this may, will graduate next may, after taking my university of london exams. i know i'm asking too early...but if i ace my uol exams n all, what chance do i stand if i intend to transfer to us unis? will a gd us uni..say the ivies (yea right haha...) accept me? considering that my secondary school record wasn't that bad. if i intend to transfer, shld i apply as a freshman or as a transfer applicant? since i didn't take the final yr of high school n stuff.

oh well. i'm probably just being unrealistic n all.
