I recently got accepted to the University of Texas at Austin as a transfer student from the University of Houston. I've had pretty good grades in the past, but this semester, I bit off more than I could chew. I was a full time commuter student with a part time job and to make things worse, I was somebody else's ride to and from school. As a result, my grades suffered significantly (lots of Cs). Will UT revoke my admission? Is there anything I should do to prevent this? Thanks in advance.

PS: I am currently Mechanical Engineer, but plan to transfer as an Aerospace engineer.

Call UT and ask them. We don’t know what their criteria are.

I’m not asking for a definite answer. I just want to know what usually happens.

But if you want to know what usually happens, wouldn’t they still be the people to ask? They have way more data on this than we have.

I understand not wanting to tip your hand because you’re nervous about this. But waiting isn’t going to make their answer any better. But if you’re really nervous, you can call the admissions office at UT and say, “Hi, my name is Sikorsky. I was admitted this spring as a transfer, but now I’m getting a bunch of C’s this semester. Will this be a problem?”

Aight. I’ll try it.

Hey 1egion, I am in the same boat as you right now. I just received two Ws because of circuits. I am wondering how things turned out for you. PLEASE REPLY BACK ASAP! I AM FREAKING OUT!!
