If nationalized health care is passed and is to follow the models of other counties, will American citizens become indentured servant's or slaves. It really is one or the other and neither is not an option. If every citizen is forced to have some form of health care, then that forces every human being to work or commit suicide to free them of that work. Currently one can be an American citizen and is not forced to work or pay any taxes. Currently there is no tax on life, and we are free to be tramps or homeless if we see fit. Under the new health care model, we loose this freedom and are forced to work. It is some form of servitude, no matter how you see it. We will all be forced to work on one way or another.

Is it really fair that we all live in servitude, and the only option we have to free ourselves of this eternal servitude is suicide.

You’re free to leave the country, which sort of negates the whole “We’re all going to be slaves/indentured servants!!!” nonsense. Anyways, what a well-constructed, cogent argument. You belong in congress. Honestly, you’d fit right in.

Well you are right that anybody could leave the country, but that does take at least minimal funds. The majority of safe countries also have or will have similar systems of care. Seems there is no escaping it in the long run.

^ haha! So we’re going to be indentured servant’s … what? Owner? Cook? Apparently there is only one indentured servant so we all get to be something different to him/her.

Why is it that the most passionate arguments against a health care system seem to be in Chinglish? Well, it’s either that or shouting nonsense about Russia, etc.

At any rate, my boss was trying to tell me that the U.S. is one of the only nations in the world that doesn’t cut the hands off those who steal, have public hangings, etc. His argument was that if a universal system is put into place, those things will follow. Utter drivel. It reminds me of the ol’ social conservative argument that if gay MARRIAGE - yes, I said it - is legalized people will want to marry their pets. Riiight.

the op is ignorant…anywhere you go you already pay taxes if you want to live

and i don’t get why he can’t earn just $100 to get a passport and get on a boat to the bahamas or anywhere else that doesn’t have universal health care…all you need to do is to beg for about two days and you pay no taxes

siglio, except American right now. You do not need to pay a single tax to be an American citizen. Call me ignorant, but atleast answer the question instead of pushing it to the side.
