Will we really have to wait until April 1st for a decision?

Since the regular applications were due yesterday does anyone have any prior knowlege on how long it takes them to review the application. April 1st is a long time from now.

I asked the same question and never got a reply. I'm hoping, if anything, that it will be like the EA decisions, which were posted online about a week earlier than they had said they would be. Keeping fingers crossed

I read somewhere they may admit some students as early as the end of Feb. They have a form of rolling admissions I believe. If you want a source, let me know.

^^Yes I would like a source please

Anyway that is kind of weird since they probably review the applications at the same time with that early January 15th deadline. With the short time between early action decisions being made and the regular applications being due. Maybe they just send out the ones for students they know they are going to accept.

Most first-year students, including those deferred from the Early Action pool, will receive final decisions by the beginning of April, some earlier as we begin the rolling admission process in February. All admitted students who choose to join UGA's Class of 2010 will be required to reserve their space by May 1, 2006 with a non-refundable commitment deposit of $200.

Thanks for the link titanz. :)
