Just curious about how many of those accepted for Spring 2010 will accept, and, what will you do in the fall?

Yeah I was wondering what peopel would do in the fall in that case! I’m still crossing my fingers to get off the waitlist (butttt I just got into BC… go figure!), but I don’t know if the waitlist would most likely get me in for the spring semester but not the fall.

Do they give you any options of things you can do in the fall or would you basically go to community college, take the semester off, or something along those lines? With most of NEU’s programs taking 5 years with co-ops, I wouldn’t want to get any more behind!

Most people who come in the spring just take a summer session after freshman year (2 classes over 2 months of summer), which isn’t too bad. Summer here is actually realllly nice and summer classes are fun & laid back. That mostly catches them up to do co-op as a sophomore.

My spring friends just traveled over the fall… they loved it and are glad they did it. The situation isn’t ideal, but it’s something to consider if you really wanted to go here.

I’m really considering it. If I do, I would be working in the fall. But if you can afford to travel, or participate in the NUin program, why not? You could have some awesome experiences. I’m just planning to work, though.

I’m just nervous about adjusting, though. The freshmen will finally be settling in, and then a few outliers will be thrown in. Will I not be able to make friends? Will I not be able to find my way on campus? Will I be one of those students who writes reviews about how they hate everything about Northeastern? Haha, hopefully not.

Dude, I’m totally in the same boat. I think it would be a great opportunity to travel and NEU is my top choice, but I don’t know if I want to sacrifice that first semester of college to go there. Especially because I was admitted to BU. Ugh, this is such a conundrum.

not going there. because of spring acceptance. this sucks it was one of my top choices

i really want to go, despite the spring…its the money thats a problem

Not going, no money at all :(
