I think I will be kind of sad because I’m really close with my family and I’ll be going pretty far away no matter which college on my list I choose. But, this sadness is just normal and I’ll get over it when I step on the college campus =]

The whole leaving home process is part sad, part happy, part scared, part anxious, part excited, part everything basiccally!

I’ll be more than happy to get away from certain people. The sad part is that most members of each of the graduating classes at my school end up at the same university.

anyways, I was just thinking about this last night. I think I’ll really miss my family, as much as they bug me and make me want to get away. As for friends… yeah, but, I don’t know, having gone to 9 schools between kindergarten and 12th grade, I think at some point I disconnected myself from making soulmate-ish friends XP

You guys are so heartless! I don’t love the academics at my school, but I adore my group of friends and the ECs I’ve gotten involved in. But definitely it’s my friends I’ll miss the most. I am fully aware that I will sob at graduation/end of pre-college summer.

Actually, yes and no. I’ll be sad to leave everyone behind, but I want to get out there and be on my own rather than being confined by the limits of high school.

Just how ‘out there’ depends on which university I go to. I’m hoping it’s an interesting one.
