Nope. I don’t want to go.
My parents forced me to apply.

Bleh. I got accepted into alot of good schools
I’m narrowing down to Duke, Ohio State and SUNY Buffalo.

I’ve changed my mind. I think Brown is my first choice (over Columbia). But honestly, at this point, I’ll take anything I can get.

Well I totally just watched a last song, but it didn’t make me cry. So I guess I’ll resort to reading A Walk To Remember tomorrow to ensure tears… then I won’t look so bad when I’m crying when I get a ton of rejections!

The closer it gets to tomorrow, the more and more I want to go. I definitely was faking myself when I said I don’t want to go to Brown… I totally do…

The killers can make light of any situation, Hot Fuss + Day & Age = epic alternative rock out

When I got into Pomona College, I thought that the only school that might make me reconsider my decision about going to Pomona would be Brown, but now Pomona is my dream school and no matter what Harborfan says about the smog, i think the location is the great!

I’m thinking about Claremont Mckenna! They gave me a GREAT aid offer, so it seems like Berkeley and USC are off the list.

I’m so nervous going to such a small school! I haven’t even visited yet, but after I got my aid offer today… It’s definitely moving up!

Northeastern in more of my #1, I s’pose.

Brown’s such a longshot I don’t even consider it in my rankings, but if I WERE in, I would add it at #1.

I’d LOVE to go to Brown (in case I get in), but if I get accepted to Columbia I’d probably go there JUST because my only cousin is in NYC and I want to be in the same city with him. (I’m an international btw)

I got into USC, Berkeley, and Claremont Mckenna, but I got waitlisted at Northeastern? I’m not sure how that happened, but college admissions are weird. It’s all good. I’d prefer Berkeley over Northeastern anyday!

But hey I was thinking about Northeastern too until I got into other schools!

Brown is my absolute first choice. But if things go bad, and I’m rejected, I’ll go to Tufts, where I’m sure to be just as happy (after getting over the initial depression)

I don’t think that Tufts is a consolation prize–my daughter took measure of both Brown and Tufts and found the smiles on the Tufts’ students to be more pronounced than those of the Brown kids. For a lot of stellar applicants, Tufts is a first choice.

If money was no object and I got into Brown, I would go there pretty much 100%. Hopefully dreams come true today ;]

Brown = #1 without a doubt, although i probably won’t get in

Harborfan, I don’t think that’s what he/she is saying. tufts decisions already came out yesterday and, obviously, he/she was accepted. However, just like Tufts was your daughter’s 1st choice, Brown is his/her. He/She is not cutting it down in any shape or form. He/She is simply saying that he/she would rather go to Brown.

I’m currently waiting for 4 more schools and would be so happy if I got even a spot on the waitlist at Brown. My options so far are GW, Wesleyan, Berkeley. Ever since I visited Brown a year ago, I fell in love with it and would chose it over my current options.
