<p>I used to be obsessed with the summer programs forum, but that’s passed now… I’m guessing I’ll end up looking at the college-specific boards and college life, but maybe I’ll drop in from time to time.</p>

<p>I was sure I would stay because I was so obsessed with CC, but then, after rejections came, it got kind of hard to keep up. The college process was less exciting without the anticipation, and sometimes saddening–even as much as I was happy to get into the schools I did.</p>
<p>However, with the prospects of transferring, I’m back! Wish I had never left :P</p>

<p>I’m applying to Brown, Tufts, Swarthmore, Yale, UChicago, and Oberlin. I may stay at Pomona, but I want to keep my options open. I suppose my reasons can be shortened to that I’ve found that SoCal stereotypes are true, even at a great LAC.</p>
<p>-Shameless self-plug- If you’re not opposed to staying on the west coast, I’m sure Reed would be a good match for you too :)</p>
<p>Yeah, I think I’d really like Reed–I hear it’s a fair bit like Oberlin which I loved when I visited my friend there. But I figure if I’m gonna leave, I should head back East where my heart truly lies. Glad you love it though!</p>

<p>Oh hey, are you still into Astronomy? Because I visited Yale, UChicago, and Brown for PhD applications and I know some more about the Astronomy offerings at all 3 schools (though Brown does not have much of them unless you’re into planetary science).</p>
