<p>Like the rendering on the butterfly and flower, but this piece needs a background. Contrast looks great! :slight_smile: Do some more work on the horse, and try to really contrast your lights and darks. If needed, exaggerate the shadows and highlights in your reference for more of an effect. I see there is a log in the back, but maybe add some trees in the back or some gradient in the sky? There is a lot of ambiguous white space. The picture looks way better though and so does the ocean one. Keep up the good work. It’s looking much better! :D</p>

As for the Horse one, it’s actually a failed attempt at an ocean/beach in the background with a sunset haha. Do you think if I darkened the ocean it’d be more clear it was a beach?
As for Ocean 2, is this one worth sending? Or should I just send Ocean 1 (the one that i tried to make impressionist)?</p>

<p>Yes, I’d try that out for the ocean. And I guess you could send the ocean piece, but wait and see what you are able to create before the deadline.</p>
