Any possibility of it being today? I know they have the ‘WM 2023’ page set up on their website now. Hopefully it will be soon and not later than Friday. I’m planning on checking my email and the admissions blog hourly today through Friday.
did the page go up today?
I’m not sure.
Here is the link: https://www.wm.edu/admission/undergraduateadmission/discover/
They might just have it up because they’ve been signing athletes, but it seems conveniently timed.
Why would they release decisions today instead of Friday? It seems like they’ve traditionally sent them out on Friday with the exception of one year.
@ynr45627 not all the time. The dean has personally said so herself when I met her that they don’t ever do anything consistently because things change or maybe they need time. If they have it done today they’re not gonna wait till Friday to release them
does anyone know why they released them on wednesday last year?
Are most people guessing that the results will be released today because the admissions website got updated?
@NilaLeslib13 I think mostly because it’s the first week of December historically and it’s either been a Wed. or a Fri.
anyone have any updated info?
that webpage has been up on william and mary’s site for a while. It is not new
are we thinking friday ??
I wish that it would be released today, but realistically it’s prob on Friday
Does anyone else agree that Friday would make the most sense with the information given?
The office doesn’t close til 5 ? if you get an email you’ll get it after 5 relax!
It could still be today, I’m guessing Friday but you really never know.
I’m new to this- can you explain why the office hours affects when they would notify us? (Not sarcastic just confused)
the first person to post on the thread last year saying they got accepted was at 6:30
the first person to comment on last year’s thread who got accepted posted it at 6:30, so i guess the emails might not show up till around 6:30?
They send out the emails through a server so the decisions may not all arrive at once. They most likely want a chance for the emails to send before students start calling and emailing the office.
One of the reasons they post after-hours is to avoid a bunch of panicked parents and students from calling their office as admissions decisions are released. I also saw that they released them last year at 6:30pm.
