Where are you transferring from?
@letmeinmeme would prefer not to say specifically for like anonymity reasons, but a small liberal arts college in the midwest.
@limitdoesntexist and @wantstogotoharvd , according to open source digging and past students experiences, GU starts sending out acceptance letters the last week of April. There is no official confirmation on the website though.
To clarify, GU will give a thumbs up/down by June, but according to past transfer students, and anylsis of this forum and other forum’s pasts, it appears that the first round of applicants hear back during the last week of April.
Anyone see the update on the transfer blog saying they’re now sending out likely postcards to transfers? This is so nerve-wracking.
@illiteratemoron i hate you for making me aware of that; my nerves just exploded.
@letmeinmeme hey if I have to be frantically haunting my mailbox here in MN, shouldn’t everyone? Ironically, even if I do get one, I’m going to be in VA visiting W&M when it would have gotten here.
Having usps informed delivery might help if you always wanna know what’s gonna be in there.
Can’t do USPS informed delivery on my college mailbox unfortunately. I legit think these next two weeks are going to kill me lmao
I just signed up for the informed delivery, I’ll let you guys know if a postcard shows up any time soon. And I agree that these two weeks are going to be the longest weeks of my life
oh gosh… where’s that transfer blog? Id like to read it (though I know i will just be freaking myself out even further)
Hey guys I just checked my mail and got the postcard
Congrats ?
I’m sure more of you guys are gonna be getting the postcard soon!! We’re all strong applicants so I expect the majority of people on this thread to be accepted whether or not they get a postcard
@letmeinmeme thanks!! It’s a big relief, I’ve been stressing over this since I was a high school freshman
Did anyone apply to the business school?
I got the postcard!!!
Congrats to all of y’all! As a subpar applicant in the Midwest I really should not be expecting much, but I can’t help but freak our over this for the next foreseeable future.
@letmeinmeme CONGRATS! I hope to see you on campus!
