I am trying to transfer into the spring semester of William and Mary after attending my fall semester as a freshman. My high school gpa was good but I'm worried that due to my SAT scores they might reject. I am taking 18 credits for the fall semester. Please please tell me what I should do in order to increase my chances of acceptance and what are they looking for.
I really want to go there.

The longer you are away from high school, the less SAT scores matter. They are used to predict how well you will do in college, and if you have a solid transcript at your school, it shouldn’t matter that much. Are you in the state of VA by any chance? W&M has a fairly generous transfer acceptance rate for students in state with their transfer program.

You can improve by getting involved in your school and if you have been there long enough, a recommendation from one of the professors that know you well.
