William & Mary vs Colorado College

So I’ve narrowed my decision down to either Colorado College or William and Mary. I will be studying international relations and hope to work towards a career in international peacekeeping. I love the outdoors and the idea of the block plan, but I also really want a sense of school spirit, pride, and community that I believe William and Mary fosters. Study abroad and internship opportunities are really important to me as well. Please help! I would love any input!

I don’t know much about Colorado College, so won’t comment on it. William & Mary is strong in international relations and proximity to D.C. probably helps significantly. You can use LinkedIn to see numbers of alumni of schools at relevant target agencies (e.g. U.S. Department of State). Despite Covid19, you can probably use the William & Mary IR page to contact someone there if you want to talk to them.

Princeton Review has William & Mary #9 for Career Services, # for study abroad programs, and #25 best alumni network.
