Williams Class of 2020 ED Official Thread

@MrTongueTie ooo marx…spicy. One of the books was self-published, but it was written with a third friend. None of them were well written, but I focused on how i had experience with collaboration and stuff

Alrighty. Ya you gotta watch out, never know when the fam will be stalking your CC profile

Hey @rcldel what sport are you recruited for?

@Shoumei Okay cool. And ya, my essay was a little spicy. Marx was a spicy guy as well, so I guess it fits.

.

Guys we have 3 days

…I think I’m very likely to get deferred or rejected at this point aha

would you guys rather get deferred or rejected? I personally would prefer deferral because I would feel that they liked me enough to give me a second chance

@Shoumei rather be rejected right off - I hate waiting!

Rejected. Either they want me or they don’t.

It seems that only 15-20 deferred apps are accepted in RD, so that’s maybe a 5% chance? Still better than a rejection though…

48 hours to go!

Hey Guys- I applied ED too! Nervous to see how this works out.

Will they update the portal before decisions are released?

Good luck @ham17fp!

“Early Decision notifications will be available the evening of Thursday, December 10.” - Williams Admissions web site

Last year’s announcement: "“Early Decision notifications will be released via email the evening of Thursday, December 11th.”

So perhaps they’ll be released through the admissions portal this year?

so close…

so nervous…

~24 hours…

Expectations are low as heck but still clinging onto that last sliver of hope…

I’m rooting for all you amazing people!

Better to keep expectations low and be surprised than expectations too high and be super disappointed!

But by this time tomorrow we should be either really happy or really bummed…

I’ve got work to keep me busy until 1 tomorrow, but I have no idea what I’ll do for the hours that follow … @-)

@Shoumei Since I live in the west, decisions come out for me right after school, before my swim practice…
