Where can I find info regarding placement for Williams College Econ grads? Particularly on Wall Street: in IB, venture capital, etc.
There is some information on the Williams linkedin page, Goldman Sachs is third largest employer of Williams grads. Also, if you search TechCrunch for Williams College, it pulls up the VCs and entrepreneurs.
Thank you! I’ll start with these suggestions.
The school’s nickname is “The West Point of Wall Street” for a reason. I joke that the finance and consulting recruiters position a giant vacuum cleaner over the school to suck up all the juniors and seniors they can.
U.S. News publishes salary data now. By early career earnings, Williams places second in the rarefied group that comprises the ten NESCAC LACs. This is probably a good sign.
FWIW, a Williams student does not need to major in econ to work in the financial sector. These employers are interested in ANY Williams grad.
