People are saying 7 o’clock?? That seems late compared to other schools
I think it’ll be sometime after 5pm… most colleges are 5, 7, or 8 pm
Last year was 7 pm and ED was 6 pm, so I’m pretty sure it will be 7 but it really could be anytime after 5.

I just had the very scary realization that after 5 it’s just a free for all…it could literally come out at anytime fml
so if I didn’t get an FA request, I got rejected?

@Lucas1998 if you’re an international and what I have heard is to be believed, then unfortunately yes. Even I didn’t get the request, so I’m preparing myself for a rejection. But again, I don’t know if that is completely true. So really anything could happen!

According to last year’s thread, 3 internationals got the financial aid email in Mid-March and out of them, 2 were rejected and one was waitlisted. (Williams RD 2019)

Or it may be just that we submitted all required documents on time. I am an international, and I didn’t receive that e-mail either. Now, the only question is, what was asked for in that email. I am pretty sure that it is about missing documents. Even though acceptance into a college as selective as Williams is unpredictable and uncertain, none of you should give up hope so soon. Cheer up guys!
@oawnstar What I meant was that only the ones with the request had a chance. I’m guessing it is some kind of a check post. But what would be interesting is if some international got in without the request. That would mean that there’s still some hope for us.
I submitted all my financial aid documents on time, so I don’t see why I’d get an FA request. I’m guessing not everyone gets it.
Williams does not ask internationals for income tax returns. But they have a reputation of asking some students for this information later on. In the past, these have been the only ones to make it with aid (from India)
How do we check Williams results? Email or portal?
@clueless96 I think it’s through the portal. It seems last year’s students got it first through the portal.
I imagine they will email us when the portal is updated
