Last year, Williams accepted 16.8% initially, waitlisted 23.3%, and rejected 59.9% of applicants. 1,603 applicants were waitlisted, 573 accepted a place on the waitlist, and 53 of them (9.2%) were accepted from the waitlist. So don’t give up hope!
S waitlisted but not so sad . He is into Bowdoin, Middlebury Pomona and Wash U and waiting on others. Congrats tO those accepted. Its a fantastic school!. To those wt listed or rejected LOVE THE SCHOOLS THAT LOVES YOU BACK.

Waitlisted. Probably the most confusing decision of all. Williams is my top choice and I really wanted to get in there. But I guess now it’s unrealistic of me to harbour any hope of getting into Williams as I am a waitlisted international student.
ACCEPTED!!! with 60K AID!!! i am honestly so surprised (if you read back my comments on this thread) i thought i had no way in hell cos Williams was higher ranked/known than middle bury and Claremont McKenna. I’m so fucking overwhelmed and happy right now and have to keep checking my letter to make sure that i didnt misread the wording omg omg omg @nsliyromanov SEE YOU THERE!!!

Rejected… It’s ok though. Williams wasn’t even in top 5 and I’m into my #1 (Middlebury). Would rather the spot go to someone who really wants it.

My daughter was waitlisted. Weird that so many on CC were.
For those rejected or Wt. listed remember the college admission process can be very hard. No getting around it rejections hurt. @Billyj720 I am sure another school will be lucky to get you and you will thrive at that school.

Rejected but not super upset because I got into multiple places I actually prefer over Williams. This is the most selective/high average stats college I’ve heard back from.
