Got rejected at UChicago yesterday. Not feeling hot about Williams, but I would do anything to go there. Anyone have any really interesting hooks for your application?
I also applied to Uchicago. Got waitlisted @jacobpilawa but hopefully we ll get it

@Gdawg30 @admitmemaybe dont be discouraged stats like that are amazing but not the norm. I was accepted early and my scores are not as high as his. Don’t be discouraged. If you made yourself an interesting candidate who looks like they have potential, you have as good a shot as anyone.
@simbacruz That 4/1 date is unlikely, unless you have information direct from the college. Although most colleges state “by 4/1” on their websites, it is usually at least a few days sooner. Last year, Williams released decisions on 3/25, I believe. Might be a day or two earlier this year due to the Easter weekend, but I am just speculating.
It seems that most colleges are doing two days earlier than last year because of how the days work out and with leap day and all that, so I would assume they’re coming out on the 23rd (although I’m obviously just speculating)
The 23rd seems reasonable. 25th in for 2019, and 26th for 2018, so it is only natural that it is the 23rd with the leap year as you said. Do you think they’ll ever notify us? When I called, the office said it would be on the website this week.
The website states that decisions will be available in the evening of Wednesdy, March 23rd. Good luck!

@dscottvb Directly from the website. Although, the dates are, as you mentioned, not always as labeled. I’d take an official notice over anxiously awaiting the days before hand.
I couldn’t find the 23rd stated on the website, either. I’ll just keep waiting somewhat patiently
It definitely states the 23rd on the Williams full site, not mobile! My link worked on my iPad but not on my phone.
Ohh that explains it, I’m on my phone. I’ll have to check when I get home!
