Williams College Supplement Apprach

Their prompt is: Imagine yourself in a tutorial at Williams. Of anyone in the world, whom would you choose to be the other student in the class, and why? (300 words)

I already wrote something but I had someone read it and it seems like I didn’t really answer the prompt. In fact, I think I answered it like who I would want to TEACH a tutorial. So I was wondering how I should approach this prompt? How do I talk about someone I want next to me as a student – not teacher?

Not a definitive answer, but how I framed my Williams supp was that I chose a character who was a reflection of who I am. Our shared experiences and background would, hypothetically, make us great partners in a tutorial.

In my opinion, in any given supplement, its goal is to know more about you. So you should be able to tie back the person who you choose back to yourself in some fashion.
