kelsmom, I did think of doing that, but on second thought, they work together and maybe thats the way it works for them. I was just left helpless.

Please don’t assume that this is the way Williams wants to be known. I don’t have any experience with the school, but it has such a fantastic reputation … I just don’t think it would be so good if people were routinely treated as you have been. I really think it would be a good idea to forward the email to the dean of admissions or the vp of enrollment. They may thank you for it.

OK..i must say what happened to you is GOD AWFUL but you must always remember ( and this is a life lesson) that you must ALWAYS ALWAYS follow through with your application. Did the admissions people royally **** up? Yes. But guess what..that’s what happens in life when you need them more than they need you.(They don’t need to read your application (as in whether or not your application is processed will not be a detriment to the college) because they have more applicants than they have seats for.)
A similar thing happened to me when applying for financial aid. It’s absolutely frustrating having to contact a school four or five times just to make sure they’ve processed your financial information. But I remember that I need money from them and sometimes that means having to treat grown adults like children and follow up on things that should have been taken care of just to get what I need.
