How will Williams send the decision online? Will applicants receive emails stating the result? Or, do they need to access a certain website that tells the results?

I’m wondering about this as well. But then again, there’s really no need to worry. The difference between the decision being posted on the My Williams Account vs an email is only a matter of a couple of clicks.

Also, any advice on how to mentally prepare yourself for a deferral/rejection? :(

My guess is that Williams will send each of us an email saying that our application status is in and then we log into our own Williams account to check the status.

Advice to mentally prepare yourself, I would not check your decision in school because that could end badly. Also maybe you should be alone when you check your status because if it is bad news, you probably want to collect yourself. Whatever the decision is every one of us will be fine where we end up. Good luck to everyone! Hope our misery of waiting is over soon.

Just read on Williams admission site that the college will be sending its application decisions via telegraph or morse code depending on your location. So be prepared with the right technology to receive word on your application status.

@kingofuniverse (? haha): Are you sure it won’t be through telepathy? Where did u get that information? telepathy is more like it.

Kingofuniverse and ruleroftheworld in one thread? lawlz

“Kingofuniverse and ruleroftheworld in one thread?”

Coincidence? I don’t think so!

^^And that’s how networking at Williams happens!

Foxy, how so?

@Manusia I think you’re right about the telepathy thing. But also be on the lookout for hologram messages and pigeons carrying mail. Williams is very diverse in its distribution of information, especially when it comes to application decisions.

The Williams website said that decisions will be released via email Thursday evening!

Does that mean about 5 pm??
