Williams has a new president

Adam F. Falk Named 17th President of Williams

I note he's a Tar Heel.

Just to be clear, he won’t actually begin serving as president of the college till April 2010.

I guess you know you’re getting old when you think a 44 year-old looks too young.

Lets hope Falk is able to turn around the binge drinking, increasingly jock vibes that Williams
has been giving off lately. Good riddance to old Morty.

Wow – are you a ■■■■■, “raetzelman”? “Increasingly jock vibes”? “Good riddance to … Morty”? Most true Ephs are actually quite fond of President Schapiro.

NCEph: yay for another NCEph. Now I have to look at your link. I wondered if Williams was going to follow the trend and appoint a woman like so many schools have, but I guess not.

Well, cute and accomplished, a good start. And yes, young. Fingers crossed.

Oh, so he’s “cute,” huh?

Yes, but not as cute as you williamsdad. DS said that the campus was favorably impressed by his demeanor and style at the reception held to introduce him.

Easy to be cute when you’re young… can’t say I was cute myself though, at 44 or younger.

Well, cute over the internet isn’t nothing.

cmmn you two that’s what eharmony is for

^^^ Oh, you’re just jealous. Sure wish I were a student athlete, though. Or even just an athlete. :)

Aw-shucks, mythmom!! My blushes!!!

Sounds like you two belong at Tufts.

At least Tufts in the good old days

redandtheblack:
Well, look who’s talking!! WE weren’t up until 4:30 AM!! Ok, I know, you live on the other side of the world, sure.

Having gone to Tufts for Grad school, this certainly demeans Tufts, which is a very serious place for professional training after Williams. And yummy mummies, while Morty may have been popular, nonetheless the jock wearing binge drinking culture is running stronger than ever.

When combined with their lame required essay question on the app, it does explain why the application for admission numbers did not show the growth that their competitors did…

My daugther decided to apply to Williams because of the essay. She felt that it wiould eliminate much of the competition and thus increase her chances. It also meant that those applying were more serious about Williams. She got accepted is now in 1st year.
