This will probably be answered, but it would be amazing if there was a Williams lacrosse player on here. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew if Williams recruits for lacrosse, I knwo they are pretty good, and if so, will it give you a bump in admissions?

Yes, Lacrosse does recruit. Contact the coach and see where it might lead.

Here is the email address of the head coach. He is an awesome dude.

Thanks a lot, I don't plan to email him until after summer, I'm just trying to do some research whether it's a realistic goal. Again, thanks for the info, anything else would be awesome.

Colege,
If you are going to be a junior next year, then you can wait until the end of summer before contacting the coach. If you are going to be a senior, then you shouldn't wait.

Colege - remember that if you are a recruited athlete, the coach will steer you to apply via the early decision process. The lacrosse coach has a certain number of "tips" that he can use to give his recruits a boost in the admissions process. Because the number of tips is limited, most coaches prefer to use them during the ED process when they know that the recruit is 100% committed to the school and the tip will not be wasted on an applicant who ends up going elsewhere.

I am actually only going to be a sophmore, but I have been researching the recruiting process a lot and its suggested to make contact with coaches during sophmore year, to get your name out there, and get a feel for the coach. I am not completely sure that I am good enough yet, bu I plan to be. Does anyone know if they go to New England Top 150? I heard a lot of NESCAC coaches do.
