Williams RD applicants - class of 2021

Who else out there applied to Williams RD?

thanks for making a thread!

@allima seems like we’re the only ones…

Is Williams one of your top choices?

Me! Can’t wait for results

^^oh, I guess not :slight_smile:

Hey, @Seniors.yikes.us! Same here…But I’m also dreading that March/April time…

I’ve applied to Williams too.

Me too! I’m not going to get in though

No! Don’t say that! You’ll get in!

Does anyone know what date admissions decisions tend to go out? And are they released on the portal, email, mail…?

In other news, they admitted ~50% of their class ED this year. Idk if that’s normal or not, but certainly makes me more nervous

@bluenette23 44.7% of the seats was filled by ED class of 2020. 44% was filled by ED class of 2019. 43% filled by ED 2018.

This is so scary!

i’m just going to say, i’ve noticed that people in the liberal arts college forums are so much more supportive than in the forums for other schools I’m in on college confidential. must say a lot about liberal arts schools :slight_smile:

Haha, it’s my first time using college confidential too, and I thought people would be really mean. I’m pleasantly surprised.
I have four friends in Williams and I’m just dying to join them. Like I see their pictures and posts all the time and it makes me even more nervous for my decision.

I applied to Williams too!
Thanks for making this thread, hope we all get in.

@namelessmonster Welcome! Yeah, I hope we all get in - they got so many applicants this year :frowning:

Hi, applied to Williams too… International student here… Thanks for making the thread…

Wishing you all the best!

(class of '94 here)

@marvin100 Thank you!

Hello everyone! My S applied to Williams per his teacher’s recommendation. His interest is computer science but Williams is LAC. I am not sure about his teacher’s rec. Can anyone comment on Williams’ CS program? thanks a lot.

By most accounts, CS at Williams is very good, but there’s no doubt it can’t possibly offer the variety available at a larger school, @TryAllBest
