Williams Regular Decision 2011!!!

This is RD. Although it writes on the top left corner that it was sent out on 3/20/2007. Since I live in California, it takes a while to get here.

I hope the financial package is decent.

williams totally made my weekend! WOOT!

did you get it today?

Hey Bexline! I'll try to post my stats later. I'm not sure if I'm going to Williams yet, I have a very difficult decision to make as my state U offered me full tuition...I hope Williams gives me a substantial amount of financial aid but I don't think I will (sent in my financial aid thing late, I thought the deadline was April 15th grr).

It would be great to see all of you on preview weekend!

so when exactly is Williams sending out official notifications?? my frd from China already got accepted to Wellesley, Smith and Mount Holyoke, and is still waiting to hear from Williams and HYP :)

by looking at the way how you guys are receiving the acceptances, Williams sounds like a rolling admissions school....lol
just kidding~

last year decisions started coming in on the 24th.

does Williams send out rejections and waitlists last? cos' last year i got my waitlist notification around 31st March...

how nice of you to look out for your friend, curious kid :)

hehe...of course! she's one of my best friends! :D although i do very much hope that she would choose Wellesley over Williams if she doesn't get into any of the HYP!!

Ack! I wasn't expecting Williams to send stuff to people so soon... I'll have to go obsessively check my mail now.

Of course, I live in MA, so chances are if I had something in the March 20 postmark I would've gotten it by now. >.<

Did you get off the waiting list at Williams? Does anybody?

woo hoo!!! i just got my acceptance letter from williams. I totally wasn't expecting anything for at least another week. i can't believe williams is going to fly us out there on an all expenses paid trip!!! I don't know about everyone else, but i'm definitely planning on going. I hope to see you there.

As for my stats, I'm a 17 yr. old white male from a rural area of California and I'm from a low income family. I think it was probably the combination of my demographic, solid academics and extracurriculars that got me in. Compared to some of the stats I've seen posted on these discussions, I didn't think mine were that great, but I guess it did the trick.
SAT: 770 CR, 690 W, 650 M
SATII: 670 US History, 650 Literature
GPA: 4.3 W
Rank: 4/166
Letters: Excellent
Essay: Pretty good
Extracurricular: President of Key Club, 3 yrs Varsity soccer, 4 yrs varsity tennis, other community service

Gah! Nothing yet. freaks

my mail still didn't get here :(

You're DC? I'm Texas. I'm worried because I think I saw another Texas person already get a letter!

well my mail doesn't usually get here until 5 or 6 pm, and it's 5:30... so I might still get the letter today. (I hope so!)

I think early notification of decisions(not early write) are first sent to URMs, especially to those who applied for FA.

So no worries......
But I definitely should be worrying, since I also happen to be an URM .....haha -_- Do you guys think that they will pay for all-expense paid trip to Williams for international students too?

My non-URM friend recently got hers. Her brother attends Williams, perhaps that's a factor.

I haven't gotten anything, although I've always been expecting a rejection.

Hi Kev07wan
I think I remember you hahaha
Remember the Dec SAT verbal thread??
What did you get on it? Just curioud :)
