<p>Professor Morgan is great from my personal experiences with him and what I’ve heard, but that entire department is one of the strongest departments in the school and one of the best undergraduate math departments in the country. There are MANY amazing professors in the math dept.</p>
<p>so how does williams normally do in grad placement in math Phd programs? </p>
<p>I checked out the list from 2008 and only 2 went to get phds in math. Is that an unusually low year?</p>

<p>My only problem with it is that some of the data goes back way too far. Is there a link with where majors went from classes other than the class of 2008? From the class of 2008, I only saw once student attending a top 5 program (Berkeley), and not too many phds in general.</p>
