WIMSE and a housing update question?

I submitted my essay for WIMSE a few weeks ago (pretty close to the final deadline, if I remember correctly) and I recently got this email:

Dear Anna XXXXX,

Congratulations! Your application essay for the Women in Math, Science, and Engineering Living-Learning Community (LLC) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has been approved.

You are now in the highest priority pool of applicants for assignment to our LLC.

Essay writers will be assigned housing in the order their contracts were received by University Housing.

I'm terribly happy that I was accepted but I was curious as to what the 'highest priority applicant pool' is? I'm assuming other people who chose to write the essay are in the first group and then it goes by who submitted their app first.

Does anyone know how fast WIMSE usually fills up or anything about it at all? I mean, I like the idea but I've heard mixed reviews ("Argh, Anna you're going to live in a nunnery!"). Thanks in advance!

I didnt get any email from Garner, Weston or Allen?? is this just for WIMSE?

Considering all of those are regular residence halls and WIMSE is an LLC, then no, I think only people who applied to LLCs got an email.

No I mean Garner LEADS, Weston Exploartion and Allen Unit One. All LLCs
I havnt got any email
And isnt the final deadline may 1st? then how is a few weeks ago close to the deadline?

Oh, seriously? I just remember rushing to get the essay done. And sorry, I misunderstood your question. Maybe each LLC does it differently? Or you could email your program coordinator.

Yeah I think I’ll do that. I hope there isnt a problem.

And yeah Iv definately heard that nunnery thing. Its supposed to be one of the most quiet quad along with the substance free place. Are you totally sure you wanna go there?
