<p>Hi all, I got my college laptop about a year early. Until I get to college I am going to use my modem and ethernet cord to receive internet at home. Having a problem though. When I try to connect to internet I am asked for my modem password and address. I entered the correct information but it still won't connect. I can't get internet, this is really frustrating. I get a message that says this: "Error 651: The modem (or other connecting device) has reported an error"</p>
<p>Any computer geeks know what I should do? This laptop is Windows 7 and our old desktop was Windows Vista. I didn't expect to have such a problem just to get internet. I'm not sure if it's the modem, the type of connection we are using or what...help?</p>
