Winning Competitions in Other Countries

Hello!

Just wondering, what do colleges think if you participate in competitions outside of your country?

I live in the US, and I've done and won competitions in the US, but over the summer, there were some online competitions in Australia, and I've entered.

They have leaderboards, and I'm either in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in both competitions.

They both relate to my major, and I'd really like to put this on my college applications, but will colleges think "Wow, she's really into her major and has done competitions out of her country?!" or "Wow, she couldn't win any more/harder domestic competitions and went out of country for a lesser challenge."

Thanks!

Oh for goodness sakes, you’re overthinking this! They’re competitions that you’ve entered and won - just include them.
