I was kinda making a schedule on MyUCLA cause I was bored when I realized that the sked I constructed WAS KINDA AMAZING AS HELL! Now, I love my sked for this term, but I also want to have my new sked...so I'm wondering, Are the times and days of the classes change after the term? Are the classes offered this term, offered at all for winter? I want to take these classes next term!

The classes that I sort of "played" with were:

Eng Comp 2(yeah I know, I didn't take AWPE)
Poli Sci 20
Asian American 30

It would be great if you guys can also give me a link to a UCLA website that may help me in this. I'm waiting for my class to start right now and I'm too lazy to google.

The class schedule you made for Winter 2012 is most likely wrong. You won’t be able to plan out your schedule of classes until the registrar releases the class days/times/professors etc. They will not necessarily offer the same classes in the Fall and Winter. And the classes that they do offer over both fall and winter will probably have different times/days/professors etc. So you should hold off on planning your Winter schedule until much later

Oh man!!! and I thought I hit the jackpot! Anways, when does the registrar typically release those information, and when do we sign up for the classes- specifically, when do freshmen enroll for winter?? thanks!

if youre a freshmen, you will go last in enrolling your classes. so make back-ups. as for me, im the first to enroll out of everyone in this school :P

hahaha my prospective classes are actually not that popular… or so I think. I didn’t have a hard time getting the classes that I want this term even though I didn’t go to orientation— the classes that I have today are still open!

Actually, If i didn’t take the AWPE, or if I didn’t pass the test, I’m obligated to take Eng Comp 2 so that I could then take Eng Comp 3, which is a requirement only satisfied by taking it, or by having a 720 SAT Writing score. I’m pretty sure about it :)

EDIT: My bad, you were right and I was wrong, I just checked now. Thanks for the heads-up!
