@Matisyahu: Thanks very much for the reminding. Well so what I can do now is just wait and call them later.

@Dreamingowl XD.

@Matisyahu: Could I know if you have an approximate period range about how long I have to wait and call them again?

@Dreamingowl call them everyday until they say “it is complete.”
Btw are you Chinese?

Did anyone just receive an email regarding an incomplete financial aid application?

Looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/Ysv8H.png

@Matisyahu: Yes I am. Would that be a different factor of transfer application ?

!!!
Albo! if we did not receive that email, does that mean that we are rejected?
it is kind of vague. I did not receive it. However, I sent in my FAFSA last week. Am I okay?

I have no idea what it means to be honest.

Maybe a decision tomorrow? UofM likes sending out Friday decisions but it doesn’t always go that way.

so nervous! definitely turning my iphone on do not disturb tonight. don’t decisions usually come in the morning btw?
Also, I never posted my stats.
HS GPA: 3.1
ACT: 28
(not impressive, I know)
UM Dearborn GPA: 3.57, currently have all A’s, low due to Econ which I explained in one of my essays. Currently retaking Econ.
33 Credits, 16 incoming.
Lots of EC’s: Dearborn Animal Shelter Volunteer, Work experience, PRSSA, Radio station, NSLS, Dean’s List, Spanish tutor, extensive research project on Armenian genocide,
HS Activities: Varsity Basketball, Varsity Track, Art show winner, random others.
Legacy, Grandfather was a swimmer (bachelors).
Three letters of recommendation: two from professors, one from alumni who is president of m club - sent it straight to dean of admissions for me.
Great essays, talked about being Armenian and how I would utilize their Armenian studies program in one of them. I guess it was kind of a hook.
I’m a girl. In state, obviously.

Well, I’m super nervous, and I’m kind of counting on not getting in just so I don’t get my hopes up. I was at the M Den the other day and my mom wanted to buy me a shirt and I was all “NO! BAD LUCK MOM.” Hah, I say, IF we all get in, we should all meet up and celebrate.

@Matisyahu They always say they are processing…
but College of Engineering process its own application, so they might have a different procedure

But the financial aid deadline was October 1st.

[Dates & Deadlines | University of Michigan Office of Admissions](Apply | University of Michigan Office of Undergraduate Admissions)

@albo23 does this mean they haven’t even started looking at your application? “We cannot review your application and determine your financial aid unless we receive the additional documents required to complete your application.”

@Matisyahu - It is most likely referring to my financial aid application, not my admissions application. Furthermore, I applied for transfer last year and I submitted nothing more than I did last year. Also, I have never seen that issue come up with any other posters throughout my research. Once more, I have called numerous times and they stated my application is processing.
Haha, I think I might have covered my bases.

@Cato1992 - You meet the average GPA for a transfer student. Also, it’s good to transfer in from UofM satellite campus. The only issue would be the credits you have. If they are strained for open spots, they may place more importance on the number of credits one has as they prefer students with ~60 credits.

@albo23 maybe you were meant to submit new financial aid materials along with the renewing of your application because it says Fall/Winter 2012-2013.

I had sent my 2012-2013 FAFSA to both Wayne State (current univ.) and the University of Michigan a while ago. WolverineAccess tells me they need my CSS and other forms but I never had access to that menu last season when I applied for Fall 2012.

Without a doubt, I’ll call them first thing tomorrow morning.

Megagamer, since you applied as early as I did, did you get this email?

@albo23 hmm. When did you receive this email?

10pm.

I can click on “View Financial Aid Document Status” in Wolverine Access, then click “2013” and then I can view this screen: http://i.imgur.com/23rSm.png

Can anyone view this?
