Megagamer - Did they mention anything about a time estimate for decisions?

Albo - They told me 6-8 weeks. I tried to get more information out of them, but sadly, that’s all they could tell me.

Damn them. Looks like October 18th is the last possible date for me unless UofM lies again, which is likely.

Think of it everyone! Three more weeks and our lives will get turned upside down!

@albo23 I thought you applied on August 1st?

They didnt receive all my stuff until the 23rd.

@ablo23 oh okay. But last year, people who applied on September 28th etc. got their decision like October 10th. So how we do we assess that?

everyone should just chill loll. But my friend applied end of september got her decision on mid october. I have no clue how their admissions work lol.

Ok yeah no point in calculating six-week dates anymore. Decisions last year began the second week of October, therefore they start the 10th of October this year.

@megagamerexe I already transfered so i know what you guys are going through just be patient and hope for the big blue envelope in your mailbox !

Hey UofMTransfer1, should we submit our CSS Profile for financial aid before or after admission?

@UofMTransfer1 - Being patient and hoping for the best is about all we can do at this point. lol. If you wouldn’t mind me asking, what were your stats when you transferred, and which school did you transfer from? I just figured you could give us all some insight since you successfully transferred.

It’s kind of funny that I started the Winter 2012 Transfer thread exactly a year ago tomorrow but this thread already has 152 comments. Reading all of these comments brings me back to last year. Honestly all you guys can do is wait because based on last year, all the decisions are going to be released from early October to early November. It is a little early to completely stress out about this. Just remember, it’s only one more (admittedly very long) month before almost all of you will get your decision and this is all over. Try not to obsessively and compulsively hit refresh on WA and your e-mail or overanalyze the time your decision is likely to come (something I’m guilty of doing) because it tends to come at the most unexpected time. Mine came after I felt like I bombed an Econ exam and was thinking how I was about to get a C in the class and never be able to get into UM as a result.

Four people are the reason why we have 150+ comments:

Hahahaa… Hey anthony, can you tell us when you filled out your CSS Profile? Before or after acceptance?

LOL YAY.
You’re very nifty with those screenshots things man.

It’s crazy advanced stuff, I know.

@albo23, I think UM it before I was accepted. I received my financial aid info 2 weeks after I was accepted.

You’re missing a verb there anthony, it’s throwing me off.

I think *I sent UM it before I was accepted. I received my financial aid info 2 weeks after I was accepted.

Thank you for the clarification :)

LOL,@albo Anthony was from pitt! Definitely gave me some hope in getting into UMich. Speaking about bombing ur econ test Anthony, i think im so screwed for my intermediate micro. 1 more long and monotonous month of wait…
