I’m still waiting for my id so idk… but its okay cause it usually takes a day or two for school system to update ur info. :D

why do yall care so much about getting your ID? if you want to know if all your application material is in, just call them because thats what i did. also they send out decisions via email as well.

I called last week. And because that’s the official way to confirm that they ve received ALL my materials.

i got a verbal confirmation, call your transfer counsellor and ask to email you a confirmation that all your application material is in then…

chickenfried. how do we know who is our transfer counsellor? i called the general admission number and i was told to call the engineering department. when i called the engineering department, it’s a voice message call instead of a normal call. Therefore i couldn’t talk to the person in charge of it.

gohwaikien, I just got my um id. Its a good thing thats its empty: “Only those materials that we have not yet received will be displayed under Credentials—Other Required Application Materials.” Yay I guess we are all set!

I called in today, and they were really helpful! The lady I talked to managed to download my high school transcript, and now my application is complete I guess the real waiting begins now…

i got my wolverine access ID today, not much too see in there though and it is super confusing to make an account. i would suggest calling your transfer counsellor if you want to make sure that your application is complete

^How to find out who’s my counsellor? And which number did u call?

it depends on what college you are applying to and what letter your last name starts with

[The Undergraduate Admissions Team | University of Michigan Office of Admissions](http://www.admissions.umich.edu/drupal/undergraduate-admissions-team)

you can call the admissions phone number and ask them who your transfer counsellor is because your transfer counselor is the person who will read your application

ya i got my Id today, as well. They had to of received all materials because my ‘Credentials–Other Required Application Materials’ section is blank as they say in the e-mail. I think we are good now, so good luck to everybody!!!

I received my UM ID this mornin and, to my surprise, I noticed that my letters of recommendation had not been received. Interestingly, I used certified mail to ship them in mid-September and they were recieved and signed for by a member of Michigan’s admission staff. I called today and apperantly my letters of recommendation have been misplaced… So I am awaiting a call from admissions to let me know when the letters have been found. I am so worried that this will cause my application to be placed aside and reviewed much later than it should have been… Ahh… I can’t believe this is happening… :(

More importantly, Good luck to everyone!! :)

good luck everyone. Go blue!

Why would you get a letter of recommendation? The transfer application doesn’t even require it. It sounds like your obsessive ways have made things more difficult for you.

i sent 3 recs!!! the reason i sent them was to add sum beef and depth to my application, i know all the profs that wrote my recs, and they all told me that they would put in a good word for me.

In response to e130478,

I am applying to the School of Education, majoring in Secondary Ed. I am required to send three letters of recommendation. Generally, when someone is in a rough situation, words of support or encouragement are helpful. I would recommend, instead of labeling someone as “obsessive” and offering up an irrefutably negative response, perhaps toss a little positivity out there and help someone feel better.

Btw, admissions found my letters and everything is ship shape! :D!!!

Good luck to you e130! (And to all others of course!!)

M17GoBlue, thats awesome!!! Sounds like you are well prepared

I was thinking about the same thing when I saw e130478’s comment. If you didn’t send any rec, it does’t give u the right to criticize anyone else sending one (or three lol). Please try to be supportive and positive in a forum like this. Thx! And good luck everyone!! :P

are yall planning on living on or off campus if accepted?

I applied October 1st, and got my WA a couple of days ago. The UM ID and account I had set up didn’t grant me access, so I had to call the next day and some guy in the IT department gave me a uniqname and password. Now I’m waiting for the system to complete the uploading process, because it currently says it’s missing half my transcripts.

Hey everyone! I also applied on Oct 1st and am just waiting for a decision before applying for the fall semester if I get rejected. This is for the College of Engineering. I am currently attending a community college with a 4.0 GPA, 51 credits incoming. Decent clubs/phi theta kappa/leadership positions.
I am anxiously waiting for a decision and I even created a subreddit /r/collegetransfer !
