Winter 2014 Transfer

I got my email today…

Jodu93- it may be different this year because it has to do with the states budget cuts (which is different year to year). It should have said on csu mentor for the school. There is a tab to click on to see additional information for the application process (I forget what the tab is called). It sounds like this year they are accepting students. But I know last year applications were open for winter quarter, and they didn’t accept anybody because the budget cuts, but I didn’t find that out until October last year. They did automatically move my application to the fall quarter, I didn’t have to reapply, and I got admitted for the fall quarter.

Finally got my email. Damn, CPP’s BroncoDirect system is downright prehistoric. I can’t believe they are still using this system.

Anyone have any luck accessing their CPP email?

It’s requesting transcripts now, guess they’re speeding things up.

thank you for sharing the news. But my transcript for now is missing one GE class, which I am taking now, do you know whether if it’s a problem or not?

Are they requesting for transcripts on broncodirect things to do? email? I didn’t receive information to do so, and I don’t want to do so unless requested such as posted on the website: [Applying for Admission](http://www.csupomona.edu/~admissions/undergraduate/transfer/applying.shtml)

Yeah I haven’t received notification of sending in transcripts yet either. It’s not on my to do list as well. I looked up the final deadline for final transcripts is due on September 30th. Getting worried again…

@cheryang: it won’t show a class you are currently taking because you don’t have a grade for it. it will only be a problem if you don’t meet the requirements without that class. be sure to submit your transcripts again once it is completed.

I’m getting a request to submit my collage transcripts. However, Im not exactly sure how to do that. Im guessing I need to go request them from my current school and mail them? or am I missing something.

You can request official transcript either from your school’s Admission & Record office or online. First 2 times should be free otherwise they charge $3~5. Good luck.

thanks i went ahead and ordered my transcript though even though it says it was free i had to pay a “handling” fee even though im picking it up.

why are you picking it up? they can mail them for you or send them electronically if you did it online.

@tehjoadsta: unfortunately it’s one of the CSU GE Requirement, but I finished the big four courses. I wouldn’t be able finish this course until December. Do you think I will get rejection because of that class I’m taking right now?

I was told I would get them faster… and seeing as how they due on 9/30/2013 (Transcript due date). I want to get them and have them sent to cpp as soon as possible.

This may be a dumb question but what is “AP/IB scores”.

@cheryang18 As long as you can finish them before you actually transfer out then you will be fine. If you dont’ (say you get a D or something) then you will need to tell the school and see what’s going to happen.

@nox165 It is test scores for high school students who took advanced classes. If you are a transfer then you dont need to worry about it.

Anyone got their final decision from school yet?
I find that deadline for SIR/ECD is October 10, but still not receive final decision from school yet, 0ct 1.
-A Student Intent to Register (SIR) form
-Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD)

So my application status has changed to “Provisional Admit” ;however, I have a question.

My bronco direct dose not say anything about submitting a sir. How do I submit my sir?

@nox: upon logging into broncodirect, you should see something under “finances” where it says “make a payment”. you will click that and it will take you to cashnet.

from there, under “your account”, click “make a payment”. ECD will be an option and you can pay it there.

oh thanks, I went ahead paided it the $100. However, Someone I know said that I would still need to write a “Statement of intent”. Yet I see nothing about it on my bronco direct.
