<p>@susiekaka from what I know, it’s kinda a good thing that we haven’t heard anything yet! If we didn’t get denied on that last Friday, then they are still highly considering accepting Us!</p>

<p>It doesn’t make sense that they’d leave so many of us hanging like this when they told someone last week that everyone would hear back by this Friday. They’ve already denied people so we know they should tell us if we are denied. Unless we are just like their final wave, which would suck because the orientation is only a few weeks away. Either way, it is completely ridiculous how they’ve handled this process.</p>
<p>hey guys sorry for the late update.Here is what i got yesterday after visiting there. Since i was very upset and the guy at the front desk noticed that he asked my id and checked my account and didn’t find anything and then he called someone in other department who can check my account.After waiting a while i had to change my car spot which in the meantime i got a call from that guy and explained me what has happened to me. He told me that it seems like the school didn’t receive your transcript onetime so they didn’t include you in the reviewing process then i said its impossible because i have proof that it was sent on sep 25th before the deadline and i had requested it on sep 17th two days after todo list was updated on Branco Direct.long story short i said i don’t know who i should blame in this case because i don’t know who’s fault this is.If someone has not done the job properly and didn’t open my envelope on time i don’t have to pay for all this.second of all why i have not received any call or something that there is a issue like this.
anyway this made me very upset and i drove back home and he said he is gonna investigate the problem. All i can say that i am not sure whats happening there, thats all.

<p>Ok so I just talked to Admissions and basically for anyone who turned in their transcripts and other documents at the very end of September or at least has it showing that those things were received during that time (under status date), we may not know until next week. The guy I talked to was really helpful and told me that applications are still being handled during this time and at the very worst won’t be finished until closer to the end of November. It does give me some hope, as he said we are still well within the time frame of admissions. So I guess it’s possible that those of us still remaining are the last wave of applications. At the very least, he confirmed that we will receive some confirmation of approval or denial through email instead of just being left to wonder, so that’s at least good news.</p>
<p>And I was denied. Oh well, if the school is anything like their admission system, I’m glad I’ll be heading to LA instead</p>

<p>I got a response from one of the counselors, there were a very small amount of seats available to fill this winter. These seats open up because of people dropping out in the fall. This means even though these majors may not be considered impacted the sheer lack of available spots means we applicants have to compete via GPA and service district ect. ect. in order to get in. I’d wager at this point many of us would have been fine to get in if we were applying for fall, but for winter, we experienced an impaction of our own due to the circumstances. I’m trying not to take it personal even though this outcome does, like for many of you I’m sure, make things way more complicated for for me. I believe I will try the appeals process anyway just to make sure I did everything I could </p>

<p>@susiekaka no. I kinda figured I’d get denied at this point. This whole experience has been frustrating so I’ll be applying somewhere else for the fall term</p>
<p>i got denied also…but guess what i don’t give up going there tomorrow
because the email that they sent me is unbelievable and says that i have not met CSU minimum requirement which is so wrong i have completed IGETC and have 72 transferable units
i can’t believe their decision and my GPA is 3.7
i file appeal for sure and will do it in person</p>
