Has anyone been trying the unofficial transcript trick to find out before the letter?
To be quite honest, I’ve been checking religiously. This can’t be healthy hahahah.
@uwwinter17 I’m also an Law, Societies &a Justice major!! It’s reassuring to know that I’m not the only one applying for general admission! 
@bornahusky glad to hear I’m not the only one applying for this major. I don’t think it affects our chances of applying for general admissions, since the LSJ major’s pre reqs are only offered at UW. @Aharris1105 I’ve bee checking multiple times a day. It doesn’t seem like anyone has had their unofficial transcripts load yet.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one applying for general admission. I think we hear back before everyone else but not sure. I haven’t been checking at all because I just don’t think we’ll hear back before November 5 and once I start checking I wont be able to stop hahah
I checked online once but I don’t think I have the courage to go and check again. lol I’m so nervous! I’m probably going to start checking once people start hearing back…

My college is having a transfer fair on Nov. 3 and UW will be there. I’m really tempted to go ask them when the decision will be out but I doubt they would know?
@UWwinter2017 maybe ask them, never could hurt. This is all i’ve been thinking about, urghh!!!
same. It’s really annoying. I just wish they didn’t do this in waves. They should just tell us what day and time the decisions will be out it’s a lot less stressful that way
To my understanding there is no particular day. It is rolling admission and you’re expected to hear back 4-6 weeks from the date your application processes
My unofficial transcript loaded for UW tacoma and it says premajor (i applied to milgard). Does this mean I didn’t get in as a business major? Sorry if this has been mentioned in a previous thread, too many to look through!

@businessappy I think it means that you have either been denied, or a decision has yet to be made. I would call UW Tacoma, and ask an admissions counselor.
Where does this transcript thing happen everyone is talking about?
@jelise go to my uw, under admissions and on the far right check unofficial transcript. If you get an actual transcript instead of a message that says 500 error or osmething to that effect, then you’re most likely accepted!
I just checked and I still have the 500 error. I know they also update your application status too before they send out acceptance or rejection letters. So check that also. I was denied my first attempt (Autumn 2016) and that’s how I found out and my letter didn’t arrive for some time after I found out on my application.
@Aharris1105 Where do you check your application status? Is it just the thing you click on that says “Transfer Application: winter quarter 2017”?
@Hubang yes, I’m pretty sure that if you click “Transfer application : Winter Quarter 2017” and it says something along the lines of, “Congratulations!..” then a message along with it, then you’re in. We are sooo close to hearing back! I really wish the best for all of you, as I believe we are all feeling the same way right now! Happy Halloween
