Just planning ahead and saw this: http://registrar.ua.edu/academiccalendar/ Am I reading this correctly, that UA will have a 4 1/2±week winter break in Dec 2016-January 2017?
Last final is on Dec 9 2016 (some kids get out even earlier)…and classes resume on January 11 2017?! Wow!
They went back later than usual in January 2016. Do you think the start date is being delayed because of football and a possible championship again?
I thought the break 2015-16 was long (4+ weeks) because of realigning to football schedule…but can’t understand why it is so long again. Bonus!
