winter break study places?

Hey!

My family doesn't live in the US, most of my friends are going home to their parents/country, I don't have a gf, and I don't have enough money to travel around much, pretty sad, huh? ;) Anyway I have several projects to work on so I am wondering if there are any places close to/on campus where I could study/work during the break.

I know the libraries are all closed :( Are any of the buildings open? Soda for EECS majors maybe? Dwinelle? Probably not...
Any other suggestions?

Thanks a lot =)

Berkeley Public Library (in downtown on a corner of Shattuck) would be open during most of the days besides Christmas and New Year’s. It’s a pretty big building and has a nice atmosphere, but usually rather crowded and often has a lot of smelly homeless people. If you look young enough, I suggest you sit in the teens’ section on the 2nd floor. I sometimes get work done there when I go by to return DVDs and stuff.

Happy holidays! I hope you do more than just work.
