ok, so i talked to my UCB TAP advisor, and she said that even if the winter grades are out before the update is due, admissions WILL NOT use them, they only use ur grades thru fall before transfer.

awesome. Thanks for finding that out.

no problem

for all uc’s? or just ucb?

Calbear, you are so lucky you are in TAP. Apparently, my college (De Anza), ran out of funds to continue this program recently. ):

^UCB TAP has nothing to do with the ur CC, it is thru UCB, its different from UCLA’s TAP.

its for all ucs

Does this also apply to CC’s on the semester system? Winter would be Spring.

Sorry meant to say UCB ran out of funds to continue it with my school. I saw the email in my counselor’s mailbox from Berkeley.

u guys r lucky if u guys had winter courses. i dont think any CCs in OC had winter

yea, i was also disappointed when i learned de anza doesn’t have tap with berkeley :[

De Anza had TAP with Berk in spring 2009. A few lucky kids got it. :[

@Koreo, the school that im taking winter session courses at is a semester school, winter session is during winter break, its only 3 weeks long, but that means classes are like 4 to 7 hours a day.

oh man your winter intersession is 3 weeks long? I thought our 6 week long was bad (go to a city college-semester system)

does anyone know why the UCs do not use the winter grades?

yeah its only 12 days of class, our summer session is 6 weeks.

It’s just their policy, since most people dont get their official grades until after jan 31st.
